Ouarzazate

Ouarzazate is known as the “Gateway to the Sahara”, a sun-baked city in southern Morocco surrounded by desert plateaus, palm oases, and dramatic mountain landscapes.

Famous for its role in cinema, Ouarzazate is home to Atlas Studios and historic kasbahs that have appeared in countless international films and series. Just outside the city lies Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO-listed ksar and one of Morocco’s most iconic mud-brick fortresses.
